Voice and Biometric Data Consent

Required informed consent for recording a speaker and creating or using a synthetic voice profile.

Effective July 22, 2026 · Version 2026-07-22

1. What is collected

A voice sample, associated speaker name and language, technical quality measurements, and a synthetic voice model or provider-specific voice identifier may be created. Some laws may treat a voice model or voiceprint as biometric information.

2. Purpose and use

The information is used only to prepare, test, and generate translated speech in the selected speaker's voice, maintain the profile, prevent misuse, provide previews, and troubleshoot the requested service. It is not used for identity verification, surveillance, advertising, or inferring sensitive characteristics.

3. Who receives it

Devoted Action and authorized personnel of the Customer organization may access profile information. Voice samples or derived identifiers may be provided to enabled voice-generation subprocessors, currently including ElevenLabs and Fish Audio, solely to create and operate the selected profile. See Subprocessors for updates.

4. Authorization

The person checking the consent box represents that the speaker has received this notice and has signed or otherwise provided legally valid written consent authorizing recording, disclosure to the listed providers, creation of synthetic speech, and use for the described church services or events. Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn prospectively.

5. Retention and destruction

Voice samples and models are retained while the voice profile is active and reasonably needed for the Customer's requested services. The Customer can archive or request deletion of a profile. We will permanently destroy biometric identifiers and information when the original purpose has been satisfied or within three years of the speaker's last interaction with ChurchAudioAI, whichever occurs first, unless a shorter period or longer legal hold is required. Provider deletion and encrypted backup expiry may take additional time.

6. Withdrawal and questions

To withdraw consent or request deletion, contact the Customer organization and info@churchaudioai.com. Withdrawal prevents future use after processing but cannot retract audio already lawfully delivered or records required to prove consent and legal compliance.
