Data Retention Schedule

Default retention periods and available deletion controls for ChurchAudioAI data.

Effective July 22, 2026 · Version 2026-07-22

Retention by category

  • Account and organization records: while the account is active, then normally up to 90 days after closure unless needed for security, disputes, or law.
  • Event audio chunks, transcripts, translations, and generated audio: retained while the event remains in the Customer account. Authorized users can manually delete completed or failed services from Dashboard.
  • Optional source-audio quality recordings, reference transcripts, and comparison reports: deleted automatically after the Customer-selected period (7 days by default; 1–90 days available) or earlier through the quality-review page.
  • Voice samples and models: while the voice profile is active; then deleted on valid request or profile/account deletion, subject to the Voice Consent maximum and legal holds.
  • Live presence and connection state: short-lived operational data; persistent session diagnostics are retained only as needed for reliability and security.
  • Billing, tax, consent, and transaction records: generally up to seven years or the period required by applicable law.
  • Security and application logs: generally 30–180 days, with longer retention for an active incident, abuse investigation, or legal claim.
  • Encrypted backups: expire on the infrastructure backup cycle; deleted data may remain inaccessible in backups until rotation completes.

Customer controls and legal holds

Deleting a service removes its stored source and translated media and associated records according to the product workflow. Profile deletion may require propagation to AI providers. We may delay deletion when legally required, necessary to resolve a payment or security dispute, or requested by the Customer controller.
